Andrea Wereha holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Nutrition) degree and Master of Science (Nutrition) degree from the University of Guelph. She also has a Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. She became a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario in 2017. Andrea worked as a non-diet, weight-inclusive Registered Dietitian helping patients with a variety of health issues. However, she developed extensive experience helping those with traumatic brain injuries, concussions, eating disorders, and IBS in outpatient and in-patient settings. She took a short 5-year hiatus to pursue business management. While she enjoyed building and running a business, she realized how much she missed working directly with clients and returned to her passion for helping people improve their health through nutrition.
Andrea’s two magic powers are 1) helping people discover the enjoyment and power of food without guilt or restriction and 2) making the administrative side of things as smooth as possible. She takes a big-picture approach to nutrition, working collaboratively with individuals and couples to develop practical, realistic, and personalized goals that fit their lives. Andrea also helps ensure a seamless client experience by assisting with appointments, rescheduling, insurance questions, payments, and other administrative needs.
Outside of work, Andrea loves being with her dog. She enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, and interior decorating. As a recreational long-distance runner and triathlete, you will also find her running, swimming, biking, or strength training.
